The Holden Racing Team’s James Courtney has taken out Race 3 of the 2014 V8 Supercars Championship in fine form today at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.

After managing to avoid and incident packed race early, Courtney circulated with consistent pace and worked his way through the pack on a good race strategy.

Moving into the lead following a Whincup drive-through penalty, the 2010 Champion took control and claimed the first victory of the season for the factory Holden squad.
