Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil to provide protection and performance for the Camaro Z/28

ExxonMobil has announced that Chevrolet has chosen Mobil 1™ motor oil as factory fill for all 2014 and 2015 Camaro Z/28 models. The newest factory fill selection adds to the more than 60 vehicle models that are factory filled with Mobil 1.

The Camaro Z/28 comes equipped with a standard 10.5-quart, dry-sump oil system that distributes pressurized Mobil 1 motor oil from an external reservoir to protect vital components under high-g driving conditions. Mobil 1 motor oil provides excellent oil aeration control in dry sump reservoir systems, even in demanding race conditions. In addition, the excellent high temperature stability of Mobil 1 motor oil helps prevent friction and wear on high performance engines.

The Camaro Z/28 is equipped with a lightweight, naturally aspirated 7.0L V-8 engine that delivers 505 horsepower. It has already proven to be most track-capable Camaro ever, lapping the famed Nurburgring in Germany in 7:37.47.
