The Holden Racing Team’s Garth Tander and James Courtney have both finished strongly again, well inside the top 10 for today’s Race 3 at the Australian Grand Prix.

The finishing positions of yesterday’s second race was where the factory Holden drivers lined up on the grid for today’s proceedings, which consisted of another 12 lap sprint race.

With a lack of new tyres available most teams opted to run pre-marked tyres causing the race to be somewhat uneventful after the first 3 laps. After a relatively boisterous start there were no major incidents and no safety car called, and Courtney finished where he started in 4th.

Tander made the team’s biggest impact gaining two places in an impressive start from his initial rolling start position – he finished 7th.
