Garth Tander and James Courtney have again finished in the top 10 in today’s Race 6 at Symmons Plains Raceway in Tasmania.

The 84 lap race was all about tyre strategy with teams only given one set of soft compound tyres to use during the 200km race. It was Tander who was HRT's stand out performer qualifying 8th, then making up six places to finish 4th. Courtney also had a solid performance qualifying 12th and finishing 10th.

James now sits 2nd on the Championship table with Garth just two places behind in 4th. The next V8 Supercars event is 1-3 May at Barbagello Raceway in Perth.
