MG Kailis favour Twin Disc gearboxes in their vessels and over the years have kept Twin Disc, a worldwide provider of transmission equipment, informed of the results of the tests. After one million hours testing and passing the stringent tests set by Twin Disc, the Mobil synthetic oil has gained worldwide approval to be used in Twin Disc gearboxes. This major feat was attained by MG Kailis's internal development and they consider this to be a major step forward in convincing Western Australian operators to change over to synthetic oil.
