RESOURCING OF PROGRAMME

Mineral oil needs to be changed a lot more regularly than synthetic oil therefore it is also necessary to keep large volumes of oil on site. Large volumes of oil are generally unsafe to store, can be an environmental risk, a fire risk and can prove very difficult to dispose of (including large costs for freighting quantities of oil).

The need to dispose of used oil in an environmentally friendly manner is of utmost importance to the MG Kailis Group. This fact is continuously reinforced to all personnel however, since they have been using synthetic oil they have only needed to store a very small amount of oil on site. MG Kailis are also now utilising 20 litre recyclable plastic containers of synthetic oil instead of 200 litre metal drums of mineral oil.
